Blending oils, essential oils, butters, hydrosols and clay into one complete preparation. Essential oils are highly concentrated, so they are balanced with other oils to create a complete, balanced product. For most products, the ingredients and their concentration appear on the product page.

We are especially proud of our solid soaps and our cleansing gels for body and hair. Our blends hold oils in a relatively high concentration, with an emphasis on oils that nourish and help keep the skin moisturized. And the soaps and gels were also developed with sensitive skin in mind.

The Ben David story

Start from your skin type, and match an oil to it. Skin is dynamic: it changes with the weather and the seasons, and water and diet affect it too. If you are not sure, write to us, and we will tailor a blend for you as a custom order.

Oils and blends Custom orders

Beeswax is durable, and allows intricate designs. Soy wax is the vegan option, and holds a shape less well. Each candle's page says which wax it is made of.

Candles

All the scents are natural. In the aromatherapy candles and in the beeswax and lavender candle, the essential oils are in the candle's name, and each candle's scent is listed on its product page.

Yes: the soy wax candles. The rosemary soap contains goat's milk, and the beeswax candles contain beeswax.

Ben David products are cosmetics and home products, not medicines. For any medical condition, it is best to consult a doctor.

Soap forms when a liquid and oil meet caustic soda. Water and oil do not bind on their own; the soda is what binds them, and by the end of the process the soap suits the skin's pH. In our signature soap we take this a few steps further: frozen goat's milk instead of distilled water, and a rosemary infusion instead of olive oil.

The making of a soap

It is a matter of taste and of scent. The rosemary soap is our signature soap. The lemon soap is unique, for those who love citrus. The shea and lavender soap is built around moisture, and lavender is the most common soap scent in the world. With the cleansing gels, you can change the scent and the moisture ratio in a custom order.

Soaps Custom orders

It depends on your skin type, how many times a day you wash your hands, and the water temperature. There is a limit to the moisture a solid soap can give, even the shea soap, so it is not right for everyone. If you prefer, you can choose the cleansing gel, and ask for a moisture ratio that suits you.

Some people buy soap as a basic product, and some choose it. We believe that products with a natural base are better suited to a good way of life and to the skin, and that once you try them, you do not go back.

Yes: scent, skin type, color and size. The product is ready within two weeks at most, and payment is in advance. A product made especially for you cannot be cancelled.

Yes, by prior arrangement: 18 Ahva St., Haifa. You can visit, smell the products and pick up an order.

Arrange a visit

You can cancel a purchase within 14 days of the transaction, by written notice. Cancellation fee: 5% of the product price or ₪100, whichever is lower. There is no return or credit for a product that has been used, including a cream that has been opened and used. A custom-made product cannot be cancelled.

Yes. Nine ready-made gift boxes, and you can also build a box yourself. Every box is wrapped in linen or natural card, with a gold seal, a greeting card and protective packaging.
