Ron Ben David
It all began with curiosity.
“I was curious how soap is made.” From that question, Ben David was born: a home workshop in Haifa, where natural cosmetics are blended and soaps and candles are poured. All of it handmade.
In his own words
The story, in Ron's own words
My love of aesthetics and of making things began at 15, when I worked in a hair salon in Jerusalem and studied chemistry and hair design at Wella. Later I moved to Tel Aviv, studied makeup, and began working on photo shoots as a makeup artist and hair stylist. I also lived and worked in Amsterdam: fashion shows, stage and productions.
About three years ago I found natural cosmetics, and it became a passion. I studied natural cosmetics, and went deeper into oils and aromatherapy. Today I create soaps, candles and natural cosmetics from exceptionally fine raw materials, with precision, experience and a love of aesthetics.

Every product, from the creams and serums to the soaps and candles, is handmade, with character and with love.

Four principles
What guides me.
- Curiosity.
- Every product begins with a question: how can this be done better?
- Quality above all.
- Exceptionally fine raw materials, precise concentrations, and oil blends in a relatively high concentration.
- A love of aesthetics.
- From the salon and the stage to the shelf: what you use every day should be beautiful too.
- Between nature and science.
- “Harmony between nature and science”: a knowledge of chemistry, and raw materials from nature.

Products with love and character
Why Ben David.
If you have found your way here, you are not looking for one more mass-produced product off the shelf. You are looking for quality, a personal connection, and care made with attention.
And this is what is on the shelf, in one sentence for each collection:
- CreamsA rich texture that nourishes and helps moisturize the skin, with an emphasis on caring for the skin over time.Skincare
- SerumsWith a base of fine oils or a water base, with hyaluronic acid, for gentle care.Skincare
- SoapsFor gentle cleansing, in scents from nature, every soap made by hand.Soaps
- CandlesOf soy wax or beeswax, with essential oils that add a warm atmosphere.Candles
- Clay masksPure clay that nourishes the skin and helps cleanse it deeply.Skincare
- Essential oilsThey are part of everything blended in the workshop. They lend depth and softness, and turn every use into a moment of pampering and of connection to nature.Oils
A broader approachWe believe that skincare is part of a way of life: drinking water, eating well, and listening to skin that changes with the seasons.
What it is made of
The raw materials.
- Goat's milk instead of water, and a rosemary infusion instead of olive oil, in our signature soap.
- Essential oils: rose, jasmine, neroli, helichrysum, lavender, ylang-ylang and more.
- Hydrosols of rose, geranium, lavender, rosemary and helichrysum.
- Hyaluronic acid, aloe vera gel and seaweed gel.
- Shea, mango and cocoa butters, and hemp, jojoba and rosehip oils.
- Green, white and red clay, and marl.
- Beeswax and soy wax.

From raw material to hand
The making of a soap.
This is how our signature soap is made: from the raw materials to the drying.
- Choose.Oils, butters and plants, each one chosen by name.
- Infuse.Rosemary or lemon zest, for a concentrated infusion.
- Chill. The goat's milk goes in frozen, so the mixture stays cool.
- Combine and pour. The liquid phase meets the oil phase, and is poured into molds.
- Wait.A long, slow drying, until the soap is ready.
